Brand Loyalty - An Update

First off, thanks for the link Chris.  I will be lining up that order today.

Having spent a little more time with my new phone, I have learned to like it.  Specifically, I now have a mobile way to play one of the few games I loved playing as a kid.

No, not pong (although I did like playing Pong outside the local Grants).  I am talking about Pac-Man.

A trial version of Pac-Man was on my phone.  A full version was purchased today.....and it is beautiful.  Carpal Tunnel, here I come.

We have computers that can render an image that is almost lifelike, yet we still come back to Pac Man! See if you can get Asteroids, Centipede, or Tetris. Then charge the kids $.25 a play and it's like you're back at the arcade!

Have a good trip. Looking forward to the stories when you come back :)

Be still my heart.

That is the coolest thing EVER. Does it make the "wock-a wock-a" sound like the old games did? Does it have the same songs before the games? I could sing them for you if you'd like...

Now, if you could find Donkey Kong, that would be da bomb!

Chris, I like the idea of charging the boys.....maybe I will let Ed run that past the muscle of the group.

And yes, CL, the original music is included. Makes the experience that much sweeter.

Hehe, I'll have to tell my husband about this. He'll get a kick out of knowing the "retro" games are still a hit - he works at Namco.

I was a PacMan-aholic when it came out, but I really loved Ms. PacMan. Maybe it was a bit of the "girls gotta stick together" mentality? hehe M was in 7th heaven when his work provided all of the IT with cell phones rather than pagers and they got them all Blackberries (-ys?). He was like a kid with the newest, coolest toy! lol "Look what I got!" *sheesh* ;o)

How cool is that???

Hey!! Here's a heads-up for you that I think will interest you. In the April issue of PC Magazine, they have their 16th annual utility guide!! (Page 74) There are some great ones there and most are free!!!! You can also find it online @ www.pcmag.com. Just look for the article 91 Utilities to Supercharge Windows, on the main page. Some really good ones!!! Hope you find a few useful ones.

Take care Bill
